This letter is in respense to the :!ctice of Violation received as a result of inspections at this facility during the period October 1-31, 1980.
1.
'~he two valves in question were not sealed as required by the sealed valve list at the time of inspection.
2.
The reason the valves were not sealed is that an equipment clearance had been issued subsequent to the seal inspection that required renoving the seal to operate the valves.
LThen the clearance was surrendered there was no nechanism to replace
- he seals although the valves were returned to the proper 1
