SUBJECT:
Sutt4ARY OF MEETING HELD ON JANUARY 13, 1981 A meeting was held in Bethesda, Maryland with representatives of Brookhaven National Laboratory, LILCO, General Electric, and Stone and Webster. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss LILC0's seismic qualification program.
A list of attendees is provided in Enclosure 1.
A copy of the viewgraphs used in LILCO's presentation is provided in Enclosure 2.
This presentation was an update of a presentation on the status of the seismic qualification review given by the applicant on November 8,1978 (refer to meeting surrrnary dated November 30,1979). The applicant stated that they would be prepared for a staff audit of their seismic and dynamic load qualifica-tion program around *ne end of March,1981.
We tentatively selected the week of March 30, 1981 for a plant site review by the NRC's seismic qualificati0n review team. We tol_d the applicant that, in order to meet this schedule, they must update their equipment list and submit it to us by February 13, 1981. We will select equipment from this list that we wish to review. LILC0 must provide the SQRT forms for the selected equipment by March 16, 1981.
