Dear Mr. MacDonald:
The Nuclear Assurance Corpc.ation hereby requests concurrence to ship
" empty" casks to facilities or installations for the purpose of indefinite storage or for the performance of decontamination, cask cavity measurements, or other required services to place or reinstate the cask into conformance with Certificate of Compliance No. 6698. As noted in Item 15 of Revision 14 of Certificate of Compliance No. 6698, the " empty" cask need not meet the requirements of Items 11 and 14 of the Certificate, but it must be in compli-ance with all other provisions of the Certificate.
In accordance with 10CFR170, a check in the amount of $150 is submitted for this administrative action.
