Dear Mr. Denton:

In the " Description of Licensee Activities" Public Service Company of Indiana, Inc. (PSI) said that Quality Engineers would review and comment on drawings, specifications, and contractor proced.res in defining accept /

reject criteria. PSI believes that the following sentences better describe the work of Quality Engineers:

" Quality Engineers review and comment on specifications and contractor procedures. They may use drawings, in conjunction with specifications and procedures, as an aid in declaring more specific accept / reject criteria."

Review and approval of Engineering Documents (i.e. drawings) are desig-nated the responsibility of Sargent and Lundy Engineering Groups, as stipulated in the second paragraph of Section III-C-3 of the "Descrip-tion of Licensee Activities."

l In conclusion, PSI believes this clarification does not have an impact on quality, but further specifies organizational parameters and describes more discriminately the process of our program.
