On January 3,1974, you sent us DRO Bulletin 74-1 involving two volve problems originally identified at the Point Beach and Peach Bottom reactors, in accordance with your direction in DRO Bulletin 74-1, we have determined:
(1) No Dorling volves have been purchased or furnished for the Trojan i
Nuclear Plant, and (2) Woiworth volves are being furnished for the Trojan Nuclear Plant, which originally had design details similar to the Peach Bottom volves discussed in DRO Bulletin 74-1 (Material Requisition 6478-M114, Purchase Order N-00326). These volves are being modified prior to delivery to utilize full penetration welds at the yoke to

motor operator mounting plate joint.
l As a result of the determinations above, we do not anticipate any problems related to the deficiencies described in the Bulletin.
