Dear Mr. Engalken:
Tnis is in response to your letter dated Novenber 14, 1980 concerning IE Eulletin 80-23, E'ailure of Solenoid Valves Manufactured by Valcor Engineering Corporation. It re_luested each licensee to determine if any Valcor solenoid valves having P/Ns V70900-21-1 or -3 are used in safety-related applications. No such valves are in use or are planned for use in safety-related applications at Humboldt Bay Pc7.er Plant Unit No. 3.
Tgproximately three man-hours w_re expended to conduct the revicw and preparation of this report.
