SEISMIC SAFETY MARGIN EVALUATION Consu=ers Pcwer Cc=pany letter dated October 10, 1980 provided information on the Big Rock Point Seismic Evaluation Program being conducted in response to the Systematic Evaluation Program (SEP). The final reports involving the analysis of building structures and the Primary Coolant System have been re-cei'.ad from cur contractor, D'Appolonia Censulting Engineers, Inc.
At the request of the NRR staff, we are providing as Attachment I to this letter he following smry proportions of the " Seismic Safety Margin Evaluation - Big Rock Point Nuclear Power Plant - Char 2evoix, Michigan" performed by D' Appolonia:
1.0 Executive Su==ary 2.0 Introduction and Organi::ation of Report 9.0 Su==ary of Results and Conclusions Table 1-1 Table 3-2 Table 5-1 It should be understood that the " Seismic Safety Margin Evaluation" has not received formal internal Consumers Power Cc=pany review; therefore, Consumera Power Cc=pany considers this analysis as preliminary and as such may require modification pending formal review.
