COMPLIANCE WITH I.E. BULLETIN 80-18 COMMITMENTS l
In our response to I.E.
Bulletin 80-18 (Serial No. 667 dated Septeraber 26, 1980) it was stated that corrective action in the form of equipment and proce-dure modifications was scheduled to be completed by December 1,1980.
The actual completion dates were December 5,1980 for the Surry Power Station Units and December 3, 1980 for the North Anna Power Station Units.
This commitment would most likely have been met except for a last minute concern regarding the safety analysis associated with the proposed design change.
This last minute concern was identified by our System Nuclear Safety and Operating Committee and resulted in a five (5) day delay in the approval of the Design Change Package.
