Atlanta, Georgia 30303 I&E Bulletin 80-23 ATTENTION: Mr. James P. O'Reilly Gentlemen:
In response to I&E Bulletin 80-23 concerning failures of solenoid valves manufactured by Valcor Engineering Corporation, a determination has been made that no Valcor solenoid valves, having part numbers V70900-21-1 or -3, are in use nor have such solenoid valves been purchased for use at Plant Hatch Units 1 or 2.
If documentation subsequently comes to light which indicates that Valcor solenoid valves with the above-listed part numbers have been used in safety-related applications at Plant Hatch, we will notify you of the finding by letter and institute the evaluation requested by the bulletin.
