This is a supple =ent to our original response, dated March 4, ".980, to IE Sulletin 79-27.
This Bulletin concerned the loss of class 1 E and/or non-class 1-E instrumentation and control power system bus during operation.
It has been determined that the original review conducted in response to the Bulletin was inccmplete in that the loss of DC power had not been addressed. A subsequent review has been parformed to address this area of concern.
As a result, additional emergency procedures have been prepared and have received approval by the Onsite Safety Committee.
These procedures augment existing instructions for plant operation without DC power, including achieving a cold shutdown condition. No modifications are required as a result of this additional review and procedure imple=entation.
