(1) Letter from Alabaaa Power Company (F. L. Clayton, Jr. to A. Schwencer) dated October 15, 1979 In Reference 1 Alabama Power Company requested changes to Technical Specification Table 3.7-4 concerning safety related hydraulic snubbers and Technical Specification Section 6.12 concerning administrative controls of high radiation areas. As a result of the efforts to resolve the concerns identified in I.E.Bulletins 79-02 and 79-14, Technical Specification Table 3.7-4, which lists the safety related snubbers, will be revised.
It is requested that the NRC continue the review of administrative controls of high radiation areas and issue the revised technical specifi-cation as soon as possible. The revised list of safety related hydraulic snubbers to be included in Technical Specification Table 3.7-4 will be submitted to the NRC for review and approval upon completion of the activities associated with I.E.Bulletins 79-02 and 79-14. These activities will be completed by the end of the second refueling outage scheduled to begin November 1,1980.
