l Event Descripcion: On October 2,1980 Boston Edison Company ' Engineering Department notified Pilgrim Station that an analytical re-analysis of "B" RHR System indicated ,

that the as-built configuration would not remain functional during a Safe Shutdown Earthquake. ,

cause and Corrective Action: This event resulted from a design error. A seismic anchor is I

being modified to make the anchor operable.
