Nonconforming Molded-Case Circuit Breakers" This letter provides the results of our review per the requirements of Bulletin No. 88-10 and verification that this response meets the bulletin-provisions as clarifled by Supplement 1.
TVA had previously responded to Bulletin 88-10 (Reference 2) and subsequently identified that our response for BFN was potentially incomplete (Reference 1).
TVA then initiated a review effort to ensure that all MCCBs used in Class 1E applications and maintained as such in stores were identified and their traceability verified.
We have now completed this effort. provides the complete list of MCCBs used.in Class 1E applications and the status of their traceability in accordance with Action Item 4 of the bulletin.
The safety assessment, which provides justification for continued operation for those Class 1E systems which have non-traceable MCCBs installed, will be revised to include those breakers not previously identified and determined to be nontraceable.
If justification cannot be provided, the breakers wl11 be replaced.
This will be done in accordance with Action Item 2 of the bulletin. provides the list of MCCBs being maintained in stores as spares.
