20555 Attention Mr. Robert W. Reid, Chief Operating Reactor Branch 4 Division of Operating Reactor Gentlemen:

Enclosed are five (5) copies of Revision 7 to the Security Plan, Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant, Units 1 and 2.

The changes incorporated in the above revision do not decrease the effectiveness of our security operations at the Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant.

The principal changes in the above plan are as follows:

1.

A commitment to have all security force personnel training and qualified under the Training and Qualification Plan within two (2) years of its approval (Section B.4).

2.

In Sections C.2 and C.4, we commit to protecting the sea-wall of the Intake Structure by utilizing a Security Officer 24-hours a day /seven days a week. This commitment change will allow time for the development and implementation of a new detection system for the seawall and not degrade the I

security system.

Sincerely,

]
