Dear Mr. Hendrie:

The cost of replacement electric power during the past ye r to New Enterprise Rural Electric Cooperative, Inc. for members was approximately

$95,000.00 because Three Mile Island Nuclear Generating Station was closed.

Three Mile Island - Unit I - the undamanged reactor is ready to run.

Other nations in the world are moving forward in the use of nuclear fuel to provide electric energy because it is the cheapest available source known today.

New Enterprise Rural Electric Cooperative, Inc. at its 43rd Annuo* Meeting passed the enclosed resolution unani=ously. We had over 700 registered for the meeting.

We are asking your leadership and support to get TMI - Unit I in operation immediately.

Thankp\\@
