. RESPONSE TO MTEB-1:
Matesials purchased'for-the Fermi 2 Nuclear Power Plant' l meet thejrequirements.of the 1971 Edition thru the Summer Addenda of the'ASME Code.. The code states that

- impact testing is-to.be performed for Class I, II & III
_j material only, when required by the Design Specification.
-Fermi ^2 Design Specification requires impact test'only for Class I materials.
The materials used are specified in-the Design Specifications (copy-attached for carbon steel materials only).
Materials used for Class I are listed in Tables 1 & 9 and are impact tested.
Materials used for Class'II & III are-listed in Tables 3, 5 & 7.
Although impact test is not required in Tables 3, 5& 7,
.the materials listed are identical to the material, as specified 'in Tables 1: & 9.
Since the-impact require-ments were established on Tables 1 & 9, the same va}ues apply for the materials in Tables'3, 5 and 7.
