Enclosed is Quality Assurance Program Approval for Radioactive Material Packages No. 0358, Revision 1 which supercedes No. 0358, Revision 0 dated November 21, 1979.
This approval is based upon your new instruction 4033.lC submitted as USS Sierra's commitment' to a QA Program meeting the applicable requirements of 10 CFR 71.51 for transportation activities.
Also, the " Checklist for Packaging and Shipment of Radiographic Sources
attached to your QA program is an implementing procedure and as such does not become part of your commitment.
