'Y Perry Nuclear Power Plant Docket Nos. 50-40; 50-41 Masonry Wall Design
Dear Mr. Eisenhut:
This letter is in response to the requests for infcrmation in the April 21, 1980 generic letter from S. Varga and May 8,1980 IE Bulletin No. 80-11 on the use of Category I masonry walls.
For Perry, Units 1 and 2, there are m =asonry walls constructed, designed, or planned within the buildings of the Nuclear Is]And (Control Complex, Diesel Generator Bnildi'ng, intemediate Enild'ng, Auxiliary Buildings Units #1 and #2, Fuel Handling Builaing, Reactor Buildings Units #1 and #2, and Radwa'ste En41 ding) or Turbine Areas (Service Building, Turbine Enildings Units #1 and #2, Heater Bay Units #1 and #2, Off-Gas Units #1 and #2, Turbine Power Complex Units #1 and #2, Water Treatment Building, and Auxiliary BoiJer Building) or the major pumphouses (Emergency Service Water Pumphouse, Circulating Water Pun:phouse Units #1 and #2).
The above mentioned 1980 requests for infor=ation were not applicable since Perry was not undergoing active operating license review.
