I appreciate your letter of February 23, 1981 Energy Act of 1954, as amended.1981 letter regarding an amended We note from your responses thct efforts are underway to prepare a final proposal by August 1981 for our consideration in making a determination regarding an amended agreement for uranium milling.
Our experience to date with the Agreement States seeking amended agreemen indicates that in general the States are makin; considerable progress in meeting the cc=nitments set out in the Uranium Mill Tailings Radiatien Control Act.
