50-328 At the request of the NBC Environmental Branch Peviewer, TVA will conduct a verification review of the purge valve configuration differences between unit 1 and unit 2.
TVA will report on the results of our onsite review of the unit 2 purge valve configuration by June 1, 1981.
By review of plant design drawings and valve specifications, IVA considers that there are no differences between the purge syst m s for unit 1 and unit 2 which could significantly affect the conciuctions of IVA's review of purge valve cperability/ reliability to close in a IffA environment. The purge valve configuration for unit I was verified (see w letter to you dated January 8, 1981). If our onsite review of unit 2 defines any significant differences, this matter muld be promptly analyzed and appropriately reported.
