Enclosed herewith are 15 copies of the " Proprietary Supplement" to Shoreham's Design Analysis Report (DAR) Revision 4 which was submitted on March 12, 1981 (SNRC-539).

This " Proprietary Supplement" contains confidential commercial d
information and trade secrets which we request to be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10CFR2.790(b).
In addition to meeting the requirements set forth in the appro-priate regulations for the withholding of this information, LILCO is also obligated to withhold it under contractual agree-ments with Pennsylvania Power & Light (PP&L), Kraftwerk Union (KWU), General Electric Company (G.E.), Commonwealth Edison (CECO) and Cincinnati Gas & Electric (CG&E).
The supporting affidavit required by 10CFR2.790(b) is being forwarded under separate cover.
