Gentlemen:
Millstone Nuclear Power Station, Unit No. 1 Post-IMI Requirements; Action Plan Items II.K.3.16, II.K.3.18, and II.K.3.29 The implementation schedule forwarded as Enclosure 1 to Reference (1) required Northeast Nuclear Energy Company (NNECO), on behalf of Millstone Unit No.1, to submit the results of Feasibility Studies on 'IMI Action Plan Items II.K.3.16, Reduction of Challenges and Failures of Relief Valves, and II.K.3.18, Modification of Automatic Depressurization Logic, by April 1, 1981. Reference (1) also re-quired NNECO to submit the results of Action Plan Item II.K.3.29, Study to Demonstrate Performance of Isolation Condensers with Noncondensibles, by April 1, 1981. NNECO is providing the following information in response to these Reference (1) requests.
NNECO has determined that Items II.K.3.16 and II.K.3 18 vould most appropriately be handled through the EWR Owners' Group. Results of the evaluations for these were forwarded to the Staff via Reference (2). NNECO hereby references the BWR Owners' Group submittal as compliance with the Reference (1) requirements for submittal of the subject feasibility studies. However, since NNECO has only recently received the feasibility studies, NNECO requires additional time to review the results of the feasibility study for Item II.K.3.16.
Upon completion of its review, NNECO vill submit t M results of its review and propose any necessary modifications.

-2 Information demonstrating the performance of isolation condensers with non-condensibles present was provided by NNECr in Reference (3) and received Staff approval via Reference (14). As sur, no further action on Item II.K.3.29 is planned.
