On~ January 5[1981,wesuppliedan' interim.reporttotheNRC indicating-that the_^ investigation being conducted by Bechtel Power Corporation, our Architect Engineer,.was continuing.

'Bechtel'is currently surveying its suppliers, and reports to' PSE&G^that all vendor responses received thus far. confirm that
'no valve parts were supplied by Malcolm Foundry.
- However, Bechtel is still waiting for a response from one supplier, Colt. Industries.
It is expected that a final response will be ready for trans-mittal to the'.NRC by April 10, 1981.
