THE U. S. HUCLEAR REGULATORY C0FJ4!SS10N t-THIS SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT, effective the 1st day of January 19 81, by and between the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (hereinafter referred to as the "Governmenc"), as represented by the UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY CORMIS-Texas Tech SION (hereinafter referred to as the " Commission"), and University (hereinafter referred to as the " Contractor"),
WITNESSETil THAT:
as hereinafter WHEREAS, the parties desire to modify Contract No. NRC- 04-76-345 provided, and this supplemental agreement is authorized by law, including the Energy Reorganization Act of 1974, as amended, and the Atomic Energy Act of 19S4, as amended.
NOW, THEREFORE, said contract is hereby modified as follows:

In the prefatory sentence of APPENDIX A, the date 'Narch 31, 1981 is substituted for the date " December 30, 1980 2.
In ARTICLE II - THE PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE, the date " March 31, 1981
