Licensing Fee Payment Related to the Change in Definition of the Term " Operable" in Technical Specifications
Dear Sir:
This letter is written in response to Reference (d) which requested that Vermont Yankee remit an additional sum of $1,200.00 for the NRC's review of the change to the de finition of the term " operable" in Verunnt Yankee's Technical Specifications. This change was originally submitted via Reference (b) as part of Vermont Yankee's Reload 7 licensing submittal. Re ference (d) also stated that if the final review of our application (Reference (b)] by the ONRR s taff reflects that the fees assessed for 'this review are incorrect, an adjustment will be made.
Vermon t Yankee would like to point out that the ONRR staff has already completed the final review of the submittal in question, and that the associated sa fety evaluation report was issued via Reference (d), dated November 21,-1980.
Therefore, we believe that it is reasonable to request that our payment of the additional fee reques ted by Reference (d) be de ferred until the NRC informs os of. the final amount required.
