Dear Sir:
John Stuart Mill (1806-1873) in his essay, Cn Libertv, made the following statement:
"Each is the proper guardian of his own health, whether bodily, or mental and spiritual.
Mankind are greater gainers by suffering each other to live as seens good to themselves, than by compelling each to live as seems good to the rest."
The pursuit of life, liberty, and happiness by thousancs of Central Pennsylvanians evidently is considered by the NRC to represent a lower priority than the relentless p2rsuit of
" cheap" nuclear power ty an inept electric utility.
I submit to you that the citizens of the TMI area consider our "inalien:ble right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" to be paramount!
Your continued support of the restart of TMI Unit #1 represents a contemptuous disreEard for our lives.
Sincerely,
&WuOh Catherine D. Diehl N
