' Appendix A Notice of Violation Connecticut Yankee Atomic Power Company Docket No. 50-213 Based on the results of an NRC inspection conducted on August 3-22 and September 10-26, 1980, it appears that one of your activities was not conducted in full compliance with conditions of your NRC Facility License No. DPR-61 as indicated below.

This item is an infraction.

Environmental Technical Specification (ETS) 2.4.3.1(1) limits the release rate of noble gases from the site based upo~n the beta and gamma energies of the isotopic mix being released.

Contrary to the above, on September 26, 1980, a noble gas mixture was released which exceeded the ETS 2.4.3.1(1) limit by a factor of 3.38 for a period of approximately three minutes.
