Dear Chairman Smith:
We are uhable to attend your hearing on March 'i,1981, but we would like to submit our positions on TMI 1 and TMI 2 so that they can appear on your hearing records.
The enclosed resolution on TMI 2 and the revised TMI 1 resolution were passed at our January Boat 4 meeting.
The effect of the shut down of TMI 1 has put a substantial financial strain on not only our local companies, but also on the average user in the Met-Ed area.
The financial strain has put our local industries at a disadvantage with their competition.
We hope that you will arrive at a conclusion as soon as possible.
Sincerely, hlc
