ISSUANCE OF SAFETY EVALUATION REPORT FOR LASALLE COUNTY STATION, UNIT N05. 1 & 2 Enclosed for review by the Comittee are twenty (20) copies of the Safety Evaluation Report prepared by the Office of Nuclear Reacto'r Regulation in the matter of the application filed by the Comonwealth Edison Company for licenses to operate the LaSalle County Unit Nos. I and 2.
At this time, eighteen issues remain outstanding. These issues are identified in Section 1.9 of the SER. We anticipate that several of these will be rasolved prior to the April 1981 ACRS meeting. Ten of the issues are non-TMI related and the other 8 are TMI. We will require the resolution of all open items prior to a decision on issuance of operating licenses for LaSalle County Station, Unit Nos. I and 2.
