This letter constitutes our response to the subject inspection report. It is our opinion that nothing in the report or in this letter is of a proprietary nature .

Our response to the item of noncompliance cited in Appendix "A" of the report is as follows:

1. Corrective Action Taken and Results Achieved Quality Assurance Procedure 18-QAS-01 has been revised to provide additional requirements for closing out audit findings resulting from audits conducted by CG&E Quality Assurance personnel. The audited organization is required to submit a response to the CG&E Quality Assurance Manager for each item identified as an audit finding. The lead auditor is responsible for verifying that the

corrective action has been accomplished. Following verification that corrective actions to all of the deficiencies contained in the audit report have been completed, a letter is issued to the audited organization indicating that the audit report is closed.

2. Corrective Action to be Taken to Avoid Further Noncompliance An indoctrination session covering the revised Procedure 18-QAS-01 has been scheduled for February 26, 1981 for all CG&E Quality Assurance personnel responsible for conducting audits. WO ti.B9,0 8103160984
