'Ihe stated purpose of the referen letter was to provide additional gniciance with regard to 'IMI Action Plan I.G.1 as it applies to BWR OL appli-cations and requests a cmmitment "to the special low power test program for your facility now".
Additionally, it requested a cxmmitment to an augmented operator training ptwima by participation in the pre-op and startup test PL9xacs. of NUREG-0737 (page 2,5) idatifies I.G.1 as " Training during low-power testing". 'Ibere is no discussion of this item in hUREG-0737, but I.G.1 is discussed in hUREG-0694 as your letter indicates. It muld app 2ar that NUREG-0737 (Oct.' 80) refers to a low power test swiau and hvREG-0694 (June '80) refers to an additional special test program which has not been fully defined.

generic pi % sma is being developed under the BWR Owners Group. We shall l
follow, and participate in the develognent of that program as guidance for the Limerick program and subnit our swiau for NPC review, pursuant to the NFC requirenents.
