Dear Mr. Engelken:
In your-letter of September 12,.1977 you requested that we review the use, or planned use of Westinghouse AR relays in safety related systems at our power reactor facility.
We have completed-an investigation of all Class I safety related panels at Rancho.Seco Unit No. 1 and do not have any of the Westinghouse relays in use in these panels. Also, vie have no future plans for using this particular type of relay in a safety related system.
