SUBJECT:
WESTINGHOUSE ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGE This is in response to your letter of January 31, 1994, which, in accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.4(b)(7)(ii), notified the NRC of proposed organizational changes affecting the Energy Systems Business Unit (ESBU).
Since the changes described in your letter will not effect a reduction of the commitments made in Westinghouse Electric Corporation, Energy Systems Business Unit (ESBU) and Power Generation Business Unit (PGBU) QA Topical Report WCAP-8370, Revision 12A, dated April.1992, and all quality assurance functions and their required organizational independence have been retained, we have determined that the proposed changes are acceptable and that the revised Quality Assurance Plan incorporating such changes will continue to meet the criteria of Appendix B to 10 CFR 50.
These changes should be reflected in your next revision to WCAP-8370. Please issue the organizational changes described in your letter of January 31, 1994, together with this acceptance letter, to all holders of your QA Topical Report.
