. are licensed under NRC Materials License No. SNM-1823 for the rece.gc and storace of fuel and accessories for eventual use in the Mn. H. Zimmer Nuclear Power Station, Unit 1.
The license is scheduled to expire November 30, 1981. The application requests that the license expiration date be extended to July 31,1982.
II. Discussion The need for an extension of the license expiration date is due to con-struction and licensing delays. Extending the expiration date does not affect the radiological safety, nuclear safety, or other parameters on which the issuance of the license was based.
III. _ Recommendation On the basis of the above, I recommend th'.: the license extension, as re-quested by the licensee, be approved.
