Interagency Agreement No. NRC-05-81-249 Pursuant to the authority of-the Economy (Act of 1932, as amanded, 31 U.S.C. 586, the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission NRC) desires to enter into an agreement whereby the National Bureau of Standards (NBS) will provide calibration for ultrasonic test instruments and ultrasonic test transducers used by NRC regional offices for independent nondestructive (NDE) measurements at licensee facilities.
Accordingly, the parties hereto mutually agree to the following terms of this agreement:
I.
Scope of Work The NBS shall perform the specific work as expressed in the attached " Scope of Work" (Attachment A).
II. period of Performance s.
The period of performance is March 1, 1981 through December 31, 1982.
III. Reports A report of work performed, any deviations of equipment accuracy, and statement of equipment calibration status shall be provided after each calibration'and delivered at tM : af(' equipment pfck-up. k ' g },.

Payment 1.
The NRC shall rt e der payment to NBS in approximately thirty (30) day; after submission of proper and correct vouchers rendered after each calibration.
2.
The NBS should address the original voucher (Standard Form 1081) with three copies to:

SCOPE OF WORK _
-1.
National Bureau of Standards (NBS) shall provide calibration for the following -
Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) os;ned equipment:
Two (2) Ultrasonic Test Instruments Ten (10) Ultrasonic Test Transducers 2.
The ultrasonic test instruments shall be caifbrated two times a year. The estimated calibration cost per year for these instruments is $8,000.00.
(2 instruments a $2,000.00 ea x 2 calibrations ea.= $8,000.00).
3.
The ultrasonic test transducers shall be calibrated once a year.
The estimated calibration cost per year for these transducers is $3,500.00.
(10 transddcers at'$350:00 ea x 1 calibration ea = $3,500.00).
4.
The equipment specified above shall be hand delivered to NBS facilities at the Ultrasonics Standards Group, Building A-147, Interstate 270 and Quince Orchard Road, Gaithersburg, Maryland.
5.
The duration time for each calibration shall be one (1) wca.
Representatives from NRC, Region I Office will pick-up the equipment at NBS facilities after each calibration.
