and Teknekron Research, Inc.
Whereas, Teknekron, Inc.,1483 Chain Bridge Road, McLean, VA 22101, entered into subject contract with the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission on September 13, 1978, for The Impacts of the Coal Fuel Cycle (A-20);' and, Whereas, an agreement between Teknekron, Inc. and Teknekron Research, Inc.
was entered into on l'ovember 1,1979 which recognized Teknekron Research, Inc.
as a successor in interest to subject contract effective April 1,1979; and, Whereas, the State of California certified the articles of incorporation of Teknekron Research, Inc. on March 8,1979; and, Whereas, the Contracting Officer, acting in her capacity as an agent of the Government, recognized Teknekron Research, Inc. as the successor in interest to subject contract through execution of the Novation Agreement on March 4,1981; r... r..... e a.. a..n.....a..,....,..

Theref:re, the parties do hereby mutually agree that:
1) 72knakron, Inc. uaives all rights under the contract as against the G:strement.
2)
Effective. April-1,1979, Teknekron Research, Inc. assumes', agrees to be round by, and undertakes to perform each and every of the terms, covenants, and. conditions contained in eu':Je:t contract.
T knekron Eesearch, Inc. has assu ed all obligaticns and liabilities
.3) of and all claims and demands against Teknekron, Inc., in all respects as if Teknekron Reserach, Inc. were the original party to the contract, provided, he'tever, that Teknekron Research, Inc.
shall not be entitled to reimbursement for work performed under said contract prior to the effective-date of the agreement.
Pursuant to the foregoing, subject contract is amended as follows:
The name of the contractor is changed to read, "Teknekron Research, 1.
Inc." wherever it may be cited therein as "Teknekron, Inc.".
The contractor's address is changed from "1483 Chain Bridge Road, 2.
McLean, VA 22101" to' "2118 Milvia Street, Berkeley' CA 94704".
All other terms and conditions remain the same.
