We have had several discussions over the past few days dealing with the Allens Creek project with regard to the PM's concerns over the need for further evaluation of alternate siting and need for power. These matters involve the current hearing activities now being conducted with personnel from ORNL.
It seems clear that before we can make any decision regarding the PM's concern on the stated matters and his continuous efforts, we will need to do some evaluation as to the degree of substance of the matter. Thus both you and the PM should work out a program and schedule wherein we will be able to meet with the reviewers and the attorney to discuss their views on these matters. DOE pesonnel will be available to assist us in this matter.
