s The Honorable Joseph Hendrie q
Chairman of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission United States Department of Energy Washington, D.C.

Dear Sir:
I enclose a resolution relative to the Three Mile Island nuclear generating plant.
It urges expeditious cleanup of the damaged Unit II reactor and speedy restart of the Unit I reactor-generator.
The resolution was adopted by the Adams Electric Cooperative board of directors.
It was spurred by a vote of our membership favoring the restart of Unit I.
I believe our concerns are clearly stated.
We, as the leaders of a consumer-owned cooperative and as respon-sible citizens, encourage you to use the authority of your office toward the ends first stated in this letter.
l Sincerely yours, JMAn Charles L. Overman General Manager CLO:wo Enclosures l
