This is in response to IE Bulletin SI-02 of April 9, 1981, concerning the failure of gate type valves to close against differential pressure.

No Borg-W:rner Nuclear Valve Division or Westinghouse Electro-Mechanical Division valves as identified in this Bulletin are installed in safety-re. lated systems or maintained as spares at the Trojan Nuclear Plant.

No further investigation or corrective action as outlined in the Bulletin is warranted.

Twenty man-hours were expended in the investigation as outlined in the Bulletin.
