i 2. Of SCl#f CP4 CF Auta*D.alNT/.4COlF.CAION Whereas, Contract No. NRC-02-78-045 was entered into on August 4, 1978 with an expiration date of March 6,1981.
Whereas, the Contractor notified the Centracting Officer by letter dated February 24, 1981 that an extension in the period of performance as well as additional funding above the total estimated amount of contract would be necessary.
Whereas the extension and additional funding are necessary to complete the work required in Task 3 and to submit a final Task 3 report.
Whereas the aforementioned letter from the Contractor contains a breakdown of the additional costs above the total estimated amount of contract required and such breakdown includes a cost growth of $8,524.00. This increase to be comprised of direct labor, labor overhead, travel, other direct costs, and general and administrative expenses.

-2 Whereas the additional costs are not fee bearing as they were not incurred as a result of work performed outside the original scope of the contract.
Now therefore, the fo~110 wing changes are hereby made:
1.
Subject contract is hereby extended from March 6,1981 to April 6,-
1981.
2.
Additional funds in the amount of $8,524.00 have been incorporated.
As a result the total estimated cost is increased from $333,058.00.
to $341,582.00. Of this sum, $313,416.00 represents the estimated reimburseable cost and $28,166.00 represents the fixed fee. There is no change in the fixed fee from the original contract.
