April 16, 1981 MOTION TO EXTEND PERIOD FOR RECEIPT OF APPEAL OF THE A.S.L. A.B. DECISION (DOCKET NO. 50-155 0.L. A. - B.R.
POINT SPENT FUEL POOL MODIFICATION) BY SEVEN DAYS John Leithauser, an intervenor in the above captioned pro-ceeding on the Need-for-Power Issue (N.E.P.A. applicability) hereby motions that the Commission attend for seven days the period for receipt of any appeals of the A.S.L.A.B. decision in the above matter. Intervenor further motions that a corresponding extension be granted to those parties who wish to oppose said appeals.
c This extension is necessary for completion of this appeal due to the unforseeable near synchronisity of the original dead-line with the dealine for tax-filings, the limitatien of business hours for the county law library due to the Easter holidays, pressing personal matters which required attention earlier inthe week and the considerable time required to prepare a comprehensive syntheds of existing briefs with new case data compelled by the arbitrary and capricious decision by the A.S.L.A.B.,
a decision both contrary to law and completely devoid of reason.
Because of the importance of this case, its relation to the safety of local residents, the local environment, and the funda-mental public policy issues contained therein, the fact that it is a strongly contested proceeding and the previously mentioned reasons. necessitatini; this extension, intervenor Leithauser prays that the Commission will grant this she tension'for filing.
