Dear Mr. Saltzman:

Attached, for your information and use, are seven copies of Endorsement Nos.1, 5 and 6 to our Nuclear Liability Insurance (Secondary Financial Protection) Policy EB-41.

Endorsement No. I has to do with an amendment to Insuring Agreement I.

Endorsement No. 5 outlines the indemnification of primary financial protection. Endorsement No. 6 lists the subscribing companies and their proportionate liability.

(dated June 24,1977)

It is agreed that the second paragraph of Insuring Agreement I.,

fiUCLEAR ENERGY LIABILITY IftSURANCE (Secondary Financial Protection),

is amended to read as follows:

If more than one policy or contract of primary financial protection applies to a nuclear incident, the limit of liability of all such policies or contracts shall be deemed to be exhausted when the sum paid for damages and claim expenses under all such policies or contracts is equal to the lesser of (1) the sum of the limits of liability available under all such primary financial protection, or (2) one hundred and sixty million dollars.

Nuclear Energy Liability insurance NUCLEAR ENERGY LIABILITY INSURANCE ASSOCIATION SUBSCRIBING COMPAflIES AND THEIR PRO-PORTIONATE LIABILITY ENDORSEMENT Calendar Year 1981

1. It is agreed that with respect to (i) bodily injury or property damace caused, during the effective period of this endorsement, by the radioactive, toxic, explosive or other hazardous properties of nuclear material, and (ii) contingent liability as provided in Condition 4 for excess incurred losses because retrospective premium due under one or more binders with respect to such bodily injury or property damage is not paid:
a. The word " companies" wherever used in the policy means the subscribing companies listed on the reverse side of this endorsement.
b. The policy shall be binding on such companies only.
c. Each such c)mpany shall be liable only for its proportion designated next to its name of any obligation assumed or expense incurred under the policy.
2. It is agreed that the effective period of this endorsement is from the beginning of the effective date of this endorsement stated below, to the close of December 31st of the Calendar Year designated in the caption above, or to the time of the termination or cancellation of the Draft Maste' Policy, or this binder, whichever first occurs, eastern standard time.
