SUBJECT:

CESEC CODE VERIFICATI0!1 FOR ANO-2 Arkansas Power & Light Company (AP&LCo) has submitted with their letter dated March 27, 1981 a report on the verification of the CESEC code.

This information is required from AP&LCo pursuant to a license condition.

It is also needed to_ support the use of the CESEC-II code in the Cycle II transient analyses.

Satisf action of the license condition and use of the CESEC II code are items'which should be ret,olved for the startup of At10-2's Cycle II now scheduled for early June 1981. Therefore we request that Reactor Systems conduct a brief review of this report, which is confirmatory in nature, and provide written evaluation by May 8, 1981.

Two copies of the report have been provided to Mr. J. Guttman of RSB on April 10, 1981.
