. -259,Q@ BROWNS FERRY NUCLEAR PLANT in our November 7, 1980, letter to you from J. L. Cross, we provided the response regarding Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant for IE Bulletin 80-11, Masonry Wall Design. As discussed with F. S. Cantrell of your staff on fiarch 4, 1981, we have discovered that our November 7 response did not take into consideration all applicable loadings.
This letter constitutes our interir, response on this matter.
To date, our reevaluation of the masonry block walls has not indicated any design problems requiring modifications (e.g., wall restraints). We anticipate providing the results of our reevaluations in a final response to this bulletin by July 27, 1981. We will notify you immediately if we identify any significant problems in our reevaluations.
To the best of my knowledge, I declare the statements contained herein are complete and true.
