Proprietary Analytical Results of Impact of Increased Rod Misalignment on Peaking Factors Ref: Duquesne Light Company letter from C. N. Dunn to Steven A. Varga dated March 13, 1981

Dear Mr. Varga:

The proprietary material transmitted by the referenced letter is to aid the Staff in their review of the proposed revision to the rod position

! indication specifications of the Beaver Valley Technical Specifications.

Further, affidavit AW-76-8 submitted to justify material previously sub-mitted is equally applicable to this material. The affidavit sets forth the basis on which information may be withheld from public disclosure by the Commission and addresses, with specificity, the considerations listed i

in paragraph (b)(4) of Section 2.790 of the Commission's regulations.

l Accordingly, withholding the subject information from public disclosure is requested in accordance with the previously submitted affidavit and appli-cation for withholding, AW-76-8, which was approved by the Commission on November 9, 1977, a copy of which is attached.
