SUBJECT:
Grand Gulf Nuclear Station Units 1 and 2 Docket Nos. 50-416 and 50-417 File 0272/0260/L-860.0/5890 Transmittal of Security Training and Qualification Plan AECM-81/97 Mississippi Power & Light (MP&L) for itself, and on behalf of Middle South Energy, Inc., hereby submits in support of the Application for Licenses for Grand Gulf Nuclear Station (GGNS), Units 1 and 2, the revised Security Training and Qualification Plan. This transmittal constitutes a complete revision over that plan submitted to the NRC by MP&L letter AECM-79/94, dated August 17, 1979.
This plan states the policies and commitments of MP&L to the requirements of 10 CFR 73.55(b) (4) and Appendix B to 10 CFR Part 73 for GGNS.
Pursuant to 10 CFR 2.790 (d) and 10 CFR 9.5, this material should be considered proprietary and withheld from public disclosure.
Since this material constitutes a complete rewrite of the plan, the attached version was assigned Revision 0, dated February 13, 1981. Five copies of the proprietary plan are enclosed in a separate package, marked " Proprietary."
