(Seabrook Station, Units 1 and 2)
Docket Nos. 50-443 and 50-444
Dear Ms. Shotwell:
Thi. is in response to your letter of February 4,1981 concerning "the sta'.' evaluation and rating of Public Service Company's Evacuation Time Estimates with respect to the Seabrook facility." A " staff evaluation" as requested does not exist, other than the information provided in the previous construction permit proceedings.
You are most likely referring to an " Evaluation of Evacuation Time Estimate" for Seabrook performed by Battelle, Pacific Northwest Laboratories and recently transmitted to the Staff. A copy of the Battelle " Evaluation" is enclosed.
Since-this was just received, it has not been evaluated by the Staff.
Although we are happy to provide this information, I again request that if further contact with the NRC Staff is desired as to this matter, that-you first contact either the undersigned or Stephen Burns, Esq. (matters relating to the pending 10 C.F.R. 5 2.206 request).
Sincerely, J) y Q
