FINAL DESIGN REVIEW PRESENTATION ON COLD SHUTDOWN FILE: 0505.2 UFI: 70*01 SERIAL: 11599 Please find attached fifteen (15) copies of the written pr.asentation " Design to Achieve and Maintain Cold Shutdown" which is being submitted to the Utility Design Review Board. This submittal is provided to allow the review board members and the NRC Staff an opportunity to review and evaluate the basic presentation in advance.

Consumers Power Company is continuing to plan for the oral presentation to the Design Review Board on March 26, 1981 as previously agreed to with NRC Project Management. We are prepared to hold the meeting at either the Bechtel offices in Ann Arbor or the NRC offices in Bethesda or at another location as would best accommodate the NRC Staff and maintain the- schedule for the meeting.

By copy of this letter, we are forwarding tne written presentation to each member of the Design Review Board.
