Dear Sir:
l We are requesting to make a ;;ight change to our Technical Specification revision submitted December 15, 1983. In talking with Mr. Carter, we realized our statement concerning control rod work could be misinterpreted. Therefore, Technical Specification 1.20(d) should be:
No work is in progress involving the control rods or control rod drives with the exception of installing or removing dummy load control rod test connectors.
Additionally, section 1.20.b(2) is revised to be:
(2) A licensed operator is present in the Control Room and the dummy load control rod test connectors are installed.
The request for having the control rod magnet current switch (1514) in the "off" position is being removed. In consideration of the potential for inadver-tently switching the position of 1514 during a maintenance day, we have removed it from the technical specification request.
