Your letter, Reference (b), transmitted the preliminary results of your review of environmental qualification of safety-related electrical equipment at the Vermont Yankee plant.
The attachments to your letter provide a list of the equipment and a preliminary listing of deficiencies identified by your review.
We have evaluated each of the identified deficiencies and believe we understand the additional information and/or corrective actions required for each item.
Based on this review, we believe continued safe operation of the Vermont Yankee plant is assured until an item-by-item re-evaluation is provided at a later date.
